What we need to connect
Everything happens through your existing camera app. We never need access to your other computers or your point-of-sale system.

- A view-only login for your recorder or app
- How many cameras you have, and which ones matter most
- A stable internet connection at the recorder
Create a separate user just for SightGuard with view-only rights. Change its password or delete it at any time and our access ends.
Six checks for a better picture
Small fixes that make monitoring work better, whoever is watching.
Wired internet
Connect the recorder to your router by cable. Wi-Fi drops are the most common reason a camera goes dark.
Light at night
Cameras need light or working infrared to show faces and plates. Check your night view once a month.
Angles that matter
Entrances at face height, registers from above, and wide views of lots, docks and fence lines.
Correct time
Set the recorder clock to your time zone so clips line up with receipts, reports and police timelines.
Separate users
Give every person or company their own login, so you can remove one without changing everyone's password.
