1. Agreement
By using this website or SightGuard Surveillance services, you agree to these terms. If you use our services for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.
2. Our services
- Live video monitoring: our operators watch your existing cameras during the coverage hours of your plan.
- Alarm response: when an alarm triggers or an operator sees a threat, we phone you or the contacts you give us.
- Remote cash office monitoring: we watch your cash office and register area during covered hours and tell you when something does not follow your procedure.
- Reports: clips, snapshots and written updates about activity at your site.
3. What monitoring can and cannot do
We watch and we call. We do not provide guards or patrols, and we cannot physically stop a crime. Monitoring depends on your cameras, recorder, power and internet connection working, and we can only see what your cameras show. We do not guarantee that every incident will be seen or prevented, or how quickly police or others respond. Our service does not replace emergency services: in an emergency, call 911.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your cameras and recorder working and online during your coverage hours.
- Give us accurate viewing access and keep your contact list up to date.
- Tell us about changes to your hours, staff, layout or cash procedures.
- Follow the laws that apply to video surveillance at your site, including signage, employee notice and audio consent, and never place cameras in restrooms or other private areas.
- Make sure you have the right to give us access to the cameras you share.
5. Plans and prices
Night only: $199 per location per month. 18 hours a day: $249 per location per month. 24/7: $299 per location per month. We agree your exact coverage window during setup. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing your price.
6. Free trial
New customers can try any plan free for 7 days. We do not charge for the trial. At the end of the trial you can choose a plan to continue.
7. Billing and cancellation
We confirm your billing details, payment method and cancellation terms with you in writing before your first invoice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SightGuard Surveillance is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from theft or damage at your site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected location in the month before the claim.
9. This website
Information on this website is general and may change. Statistics are shown with their sources and dates. Links to other services, such as WhatsApp, are covered by those services’ own terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
