How we watch, and what we never watch
Watching cameras for other people is a responsibility. These are the rules our operators work by at every site.
Audio off by default
About a dozen states require every party’s consent to record a conversation. We keep audio off unless your state allows it, your signs say so and you ask for it.
No private areas
We never watch restrooms, changing areas, break or locker rooms, patient rooms, or the inside of rented homes and apartments.
View-only access you control
We ask for a separate view-only login. Change the password or delete the user and our access ends immediately.
Recordings stay with you
Your footage stays on your own recorder. We save clips of incidents and send them to you.
Need-to-know viewing
Only the operators assigned to your site watch your cameras, during your coverage hours.
Signs and staff notice
We recommend “video monitored” signs at entrances, and written notice to staff where your state requires it.
Healthcare sites
Public and exterior areas only, audio always off. Raise any HIPAA paperwork your team needs before setup.
Homes and rentals
Cameras on your own property, pointed away from neighbors. Exterior cameras only for any rented space.
